Billy Gibbons Guitarist / Singer
An absolute great player. When Jimi Hendrix says watch out for this guy on Johnny Carson's show... you best listen!
I've seen ZZ Top 4 times and Billy has been one of my favorite players since junior high.

MJM with the "GREAT" Billy Gibbons
Jack FM Tour 2007 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre
My first live show At Red Rocks.
Pretty good venue with good sound and a no nonsense security staff. The place was packed!
The no nonsense security staff eliminated .... drunken fans straying into the front rows, obnoxious dancer's gone wild and some other various so called fan's there for the party. If you have been to as many concert's as I have, it was nice to see some crowd control.
The Show
The Stray Cats opened with a predictable rockabilly set.
Next, The Pretenders with a great 50 minute set with the only two surviving original members Chrissie Hynde and Martin Chambers.
ZZ Top finished the show with the usual crowd pleasing hit's, dynamic sound, great light show and Billy's infectious banter (this is my 3rd ZZ show).
Billy, Dusty and Frank played well together, although in my opinion they showed their long tenured time together with some slow tempoed song's.

I attended the meet & Greet as did about 80 others.
The M & G host was very strict, no cameras and only 1 item signed, then a picture being taken by their photog and then out you go.
It was a real thrill to meet The Reverend Billy

I always bring my camera regardless of what the organizers say. I snuck these out of focus shots of Billy.
